FC Europa Charge '92 Girls

The FC Europa Charge '92 girls are a youth soccer team based out of Berwyn, PA, formerly know as the TEYSA Charge.

As players this age are now looking forward to playing soccer in college, the goal of the team and it's coaching staff is to fully prepare all players to play at the highest college levels. Having prepared female players in the past that have gone on to have successful seasons at UNC, UVA, Penn State and other prominent Division 1 NCAA programs, head coach Steve Fraser has a proven track record of preparing his players technically, tactically, physically and mentally.

The philosophy of the coaching staff is still to provide exceptional youth soccer players with a challenging program that will offer opportunities to compete in regional and national competitions, with a goal that these players will gain exposure to enhance their opportunities to further their development as student athletes at the college level. We strive to instruct, train and educate players of all postions in pursuit of soccer excellence.

The objective of the Charge is also to provide a year-round soccer training program that will develop players to their greatest potential, focusing on top-quality instruction and exposure to the highest levels of competition. With the majority of players competing with their high school soccer programs in the fall, the Charge use the rest of the year to strive to play at the highest level regional leagues, nationally ranked tournaments and college showcases.

All Charge players are expected to -

• Display exemplary sportsmanship at all times
• Always give their best in every situation
• Have a positive and professional attitude
• Attend and be punctual at all training sessions and games
• Encouarge team mates through positive communication
• Constantly strive to be the best player and person they can be
• Practice individual soccer skills several times each week

2010/2011 Schedule

 WAGS Tournament

 October 23rd - 25th, Washington DC

 2010 Will see the Charge make their 3rd consecutive 

 appearance at this top #5 ranked college showcase.

 National Elite Women's Soccer Showcase

 November 27th - 28th, Long Island, NY

 The Charge have already been accepted to the #6 ranked

 college showcase in the USA as they return to the NEWSS

 tournament.

 Disney Girls Soccer Showcase

 December 31st - Jan 3rd, Kissimmee, FL

 With FC Europa being an Adidas Premier Club, acceptance

                                       to Disney is likely, the #1 ranked Showcase in the USA.

  Jefferson Cup Showcase

  March 19th - 21st, Richmond, VA

  Charge will return to the Jefferson Cup, after competing in

  the 2nd highest bracket in 2010.

April and May will see the Charge use local tournaments to prepare for 2011 NCS June state cups and make a push to qualify for 2011 NCS Regionals, being held this year in Lancaster, PA
